Promoting healthy life outcomes and equity for autistic postsecondary students

I am an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Public Health at UCLA and a practicing adolescent/adult psychiatric nurse (RN) with a background in clinical behavioral health research and mental health services and policy research. I study the delivery and organization of behavioral health services for youth with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. In this project, I will provide expertise as a clinician as well as quantitative and qualitative research methods towards developing the data collection materials and structuring the interviews. I have an extensive network of health system and university stakeholder collaborators that I will leverage to facilitate recruitment efforts.
